Makers Mark: Gorham Mfg. of Rhode Island. The 13" pitcher is made of coin silver and engraved "May 1855" on the bottom. The pitcher is hand chased with an oak leaf, acorn motif in two dimensional relief; an outstanding piece in excellent condition.
