Exchange & Return Policy
Your purchase, in original condition and accompanied by its receipt, may be exchanged or returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. Items showing wear or use, consignment purchases, completed layaways, special orders, modified, engraved and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Credits or refunds will be issued in accordance with the original method of payment. If purchased with credit card, there will be a 2% handling fee deducted from the original amount. Any item received as a gift and not accompanied by a sales receipt will be issued merchandise credit only. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
Articles may be placed on layaway for a maximum of 120 days with a minimum deposit of 20% and four equal monthly payments. If a payment is over 30 days in arrears, the item may be returned to stock. If no satisfactory payment arrangement has been made by the end of the 120-day period, the item(s) will be returned to stock and all payments will be forfeited. At our discretion, layaways may be cancelled in the event of special circumstances, in which case a 20% restocking fee will be charged with the remaining balance issued in store credit.
Special Orders& Custom Design
Special orders and custom designed items are not returnable, refundable or exchangeable. All special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit on the date of order.
When Reliable Gold orders an item for your consideration, you will be charged a $35 shipping deposit that is 100% refundable once you keep your appointment to view the item with no obligation to make a purchase.
Reliable Gold and its employees accept no responsibility for the condition or identification of items upon receipt, including but not limited to stone or metal authenticity or stone condition. Repair work is to be undertaken at customer's risk. We are not liable for damage attributable to any of the following: any unstable enhancement processes; heat-sensitive, treated, fractured, fragile or chipped stones; lightweight mounting; poor manufacturing; very worn items; poor workmanship by previous jeweler; or sizing up or down beyond limits of ring. Typical timeframe for repair turnaround is 1-2 weeks from the date of customer's approval, though this timeframe may be longer under certain circumstances. We will make every attempt to accommodate but cannot guarantee rush service for repairs. Reliable Gold is not responsible for any article left more than 90 days.
Watch overhauls or movement replacements are guaranteed for one (1) year from the date of service. This guaranteed excludes watches that have impact damage, water damage, or indications of tampering or misuse. Without a water resistance test, Reliable Gold is not responsible for water resistance or fluid damage after a battery change. Battery life is not guaranteed.
